We are a specialized consultancy in pioneering services in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainability, formed by an international network of professional experts, who work enthusiastically to accompany companies in their evolution towards economic, social and environmental best practice in developing their business.

From our beginnings in 1993 we centre our work in the field of sustainability.

Being aware of the need for companies and organizations to advance on sustainable development issues, in 2004 we created the consultancy MAS Business to offer the latest advances in Spain and internationally on Social Responsibility and Sustainability issues. 

Since then we participate very actively in forums and in national and international organizations, that enable us to be at the forefront and actively take part in the evolution of CSR. Through this implication, we participate in creating awareness in companies in favour of responsible practices, and more importantly, we contribute to them being more competitive and sustainable. 

Large and medium-sized Spanish companies committed to excellence and transparency, have requested our services and we believe that our clients are the best guarantee of our professionalism. 

When consulted, it is key for us to thoroughly understand, from a global but also local perspective, the underlying needs and with this openness and vision, work together with our clients to obtain the best solutions. 

We are aware that CSR and Sustainability are in continual evolution and our work focuses on, based on our knowledge, contributing to the companies’ sustainable development.

To ensure the quality of our services, we have our own quality management system certified to the ISO 9001 standard. 

AccountAbility
As members of AccountAbility since 2004 and as its representative in Spain, since 2007, we have made known their standards, through events and training courses, both in Spain and Latin America. We participated in the development of the standards AA1000AS (2008) and AA1000APS (2008). Immediately after their publication in English, we translated both standards into Spanish, so that these versions were the first  to be available in another language. Since 2009 we have participated actively in the drafting of the new standard AA1000SES (2011). 

In 2008 we launched the study AA1000AS, to advise companies on these international standards and how the application of their principles can contribute to their competitiveness and sustainability.

LBG
In 2005 we brought to Spain the LBG methodology to help companies manage, measure and communicate their Community Investment, and as a result, in 2007 the group LBG España www.lbg.es was created. Since then MAS Business coordinates this pioneer working group in advancing the implementation of the LBG methodology in their companies as a useful tool in their Community Investment practices.

En colaboración con la prestigiosa firma Sigma Dos, en 2008 lanzamos el innovador estudio opinaRSE www.opinarse.com, único en el mundo, que se presenta como una herramienta útil para conocer la opinión que el gran público tiene sobre las prácticas de las empresas en temas de RSE.

AA1000AS Assurance
In our interest to offer our clients the most advanced services in CSR and sustainability, it has been a logical progression the cooperation agreement between MAS Business and Two Tomorrows www.twotomorrows.com

In line with our values, since 2005 we are signatories to the Global Compact Principles and since 2006 member of the Spanish Global Compact Network.

Regularly we attend forums and conferences, both in Spain and other countries to learn firsthand the latest developments and best practices related to business ethics and corporate responsibility. 

We are also members of important international organizations: GRI, Tomorrows Company, and the European Climate Forum.
